In 2013, we started with a simple idea: make collapsible storage crates to eliminate the frustration of bulky plastic bins that take up a ton of room when you’re not using them. And we quickly designed, produced and sold them through big box retailers. Great start, right? Well, that was just the beginning of our focus on innovating on the products consumers use every day.
From there, our family and friends started to say things like, “You should make space-saving products for laundry.” Or, “Wouldn’t it be cool if coolers could fold down?” Great ideas! So we did those too.
Now at CleverMade, we just love making things better. And we do it by continually improving on the design of everyday products across a wide variety of categories to deliver solutions that make daily life simpler.

We are a team made up of creatives, dreamers, foodies and sports fanatics who love a good whiteboard session, throwing out ideas on what products we think would be clever and cool. We spend our days looking at the environment around us and observing the little things that can be done just that much better. And then we endeavor to do something about it. As a team of makers and doers, nothing is more exciting to us than seeing an idea turn into a physical product, sitting on a shelf, in a backyard, or on-the-go. Luckily, this happens a lot.
